Application of sequential quadratic programming based on active set method in cleaner production

On the platform of general chemical process simulation software (it was named Optimization Engineer, OPEN), a optimization algorithm for is developed using C + code. The based on sequential quadratic programming (SQP). We adopt activity set and rotation axis to generate solve sub-problem. active method can simplify number constraints speed up calculation. At same time, we used limited memory BFGS (L-BFGS) solution second derivative matrix. special matrix storage mode L-BFGS save space computing efficiency. use exact penalty function traditional step-size rule in algorithm. These two methods ensure convergence algorithm, more correct search direction suitable step. example shows that advanced meet requirements General Chemical Process Calculation. iterations reduce by about 6.0%. computation time 6.5%. combined this with technology develop engineering simulation. This play an important role calculation aiming at energy saving green production.
